Change back left to spend to number of days

I am sad this has changed from giving the number of days legt until pay day, to simply giving the date. I know the date i’ll be paid without looking! Always! But I don’t automatically know how many days that will be without counting.

Please considering changing it back to x amount of days left to spend. Even better, give people the choice of how its displayed!

Use Target in Trends, and set it on Spotlight and that will show you the amount of days left.

That’s the only option you have.

Hmm thank you, yes, but it doesnt show only whats left in my main account. The target is a little different - my spending budget fluctuates month to month as I earn slightly different amounts and then allocate what I can to pots and savings. My target is always simply whatever I have purposely left in my main account balance to spend. It’s kind of my ‘target’ by default. So this setting does help because now I can see the days left in a separate spotlight, but I preferred when it displayed it previously in the left to spend.

Thank you

I understand what you’re saying but that no longer exists now sadly.

You’d just need to adjust Target every month for the fluctuation that month to show you what’s left to zero.

Just change the amount each month? That’ll fix both things and take 15 seconds.

If what you care about is what’s in your current account then that’s right there in front of you? And you said you always know when payday is?

Summary isn’t coming back

Totally agree, monzo made this feature worse.

Unfortunately, the other posters are probably right… Monzo have had ample opportunity to restore this feature, and they haven’t, so I’m not hopeful this will ever come back.

Not sure how much work it would take to change this though, same premise but goes by what’s in your current account (I don’t use monzo).

Having left for x days would be better than a date.

Yea previously up until not long ago (maybe justa month or two), it said how many days, so its already had that as an option but changed it

Yes, thanks for your thoughts.
I just posted about this not necessarily for suggestions (although i’m grateful) but simply as this seems to be where people provide feedback to Monzo, and this is my feedback;that it was better before (in this one users opinion).

It was just helpful for me personally when it was a countdown rather than a date. No biggie, just a preference and feedbackfor Monzo should they be taking the time to read it.

This change has been in the making for nearly two years now

They just seem to be quite slow at taking it away from everyone. But it won’t be coming back.

I love the left to spend a tab which tells me how many days I have until my next payday originally it used to say the number of days now it seems to say the date. Does anyone know if you can change this back?
