Aye, I’m approaching the 24hour mark for the upgrade as well. Still verifying my details. I guess the backend has a lot to chew through.
So as an investor in three crowdfunding campaigns and being in the first 1000 users to get the original alpha card, I was expecting to be one of the first to upgrade, yet I have yet to get an email/notification in the old app. Is there an actual order or people are randomly selected? I really want to just fully move to CA…
There was some sort of criteria and if were to meet invitation would have been sent. You can check with COops they are able to whitelist people I believe;
I been waiting for the CA so long. Every time i contact i the reply is wait.
I am waiting patiently to get the account but I am on ios and prepaid .
It just failed for me. Said to try again, but the banner disappeared. Pinged in-app chat about it.
Either way, they want everyone across by the end of November, so it’s not going to be a long wait.
I got the banner to migrate (from pre-paid Beta, I did not use the preview nor am I an investor) on Friday 10th.
The verification process only took a few minutes despite me having been asked to provide tax references from another country(!) and I believe my debit card got delivered today.
For some reason the “Activate my card” banner keeps disappearing and I usually have to kill the app to get it back (I’m on Android). I’m really looking forward to being able to use Android Pay!
Huh, I killed the App and loaded it again, and the ‘Continue’ banner was back, and it was saying it was verify. Not sure if it actually failed and has started again automagically, or if it hadn’t failed at all and is still going.
Had the same issue and, considering it’s just completed my migration , pretty sure it’s still going.
As with others, had to log out and log back in for the PP and CA account preview transactions to merge, but can now take me old pre pay card and frame it as a memento.
You can have my invite, if you like . I’ve only been with Monzo a few months and hardly use it. I quite like the prepaid functionality so won’t be upgrading for a while.
I’m really interested in this point of view so I’m going to make a new thread using this quote as a starting point - hope you don’t mind!

So I love Monzo and for me it’s currently beating Starling.
However I’m a CA tester my wife with just the prepaid.
So why have I read today that new users are getting the CA 1st? This is clearly against everything they have posted.
Big fail for Monzo here perhaps they are a legacy bank in a deguise?
You cannot state that existing users get converted first when I read a new user has got a card first. This is beyond embarrassing for your organisation.
I haven’t heard of anyone in the queue getting the CA First…do you have any articles that have said this?
