I have just switched to Monzo Plus but am due 2 refunds to my old card number, will they automatically be credited to the new card to my account

Hi all Have recently upgraded to the Plus account so card was replaced. Since then I have had a refund to the old card which shows up in the Monzo app as rejected due to being made to a replaced card! Surely this should automatically be accepted? The retailer can’t update the card their end so I’m a little stuck with what to do now. Anyone else had this? Thanks

Hi My wife us due a refund from a holiday company back on to her card. However since making the original payment she has a new card (replacing a lost one) with a new long card number. Will the refund fail or will monzo realise? Many thanks

Hi all I am shortly expecting a refund from Airbnb for a trip to the US cancelled due to Covid. They have confirmed (today) that they have actioned the refund, but said they will refund to the card that I used to pay for the stay, which was the old hot coral card. I have since changed to the new blue card which obviously has a different card number. What do I need to do? Thanks Stuart

Just confirming, I made a concert ticket purchase pre-covid, which I’m only now getting refunded for (as I can’t make the resheduled event), since then I’ve changed cards a couple of times, will my refund still work? (I’m using the same monzo account)

Can I get a refund for something I paid for with an older card?

I recently switched to Monzo Premium from the normal free account so I got a new card, I then a few days later applied for a refund on Amazon for a product I purchased but noticed after that it was set to my old card, I just got an email to say that my refund has been credited to my payment method I used to buy. Will this money automatically be put into my new account or if not how do I get this money?

Monzo card permanently disabled, can i still receive payments which refunded to my card

Cards that are disabled or cancelled are still technically connected to your account, they just cannot be used for purchases anymore and you don’t see them in your account. It will refund to your old card number and be applied to your account. See this reply from a Ex-Monzo employee.

Refund on Replacement Card

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help. I am currently waiting for a refund, however I lost my card so had to replace it. Can I still get my refund on the replacement card? Thank you.
