Hi My wife us due a refund from a holiday company back on to her card. However since making the original payment she has a new card (replacing a lost one) with a new long card number. Will the refund fail or will monzo realise? Many thanks

I found myself in a similar situation this week and the refund made it to my account without any issues!
Generally it’ll work just fine.
The merchant needs to process it as a refund using the original authorisation code (so the refund is linked to the payment) and then it’ll go through.
If they try processing it as a new transaction then it likely won’t go through.
