Yeah I used to have a Remarkable 2, not the latest Pro.
In the end I put it on eBay as something just felt a little too convoluted for me rather than just using a notebook and pen. But mileage obviously varies - and I know some people who think it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
Anytime I want to get to a page quickly, it would be a few too many clicks. Anytime I wanted to refer back to notes, it just felt a little too unintuitive. And I’m left handed so writing wasn’t the easiest.
Weirdly I do miss it a little and consider trying again but just think it was a solution looking for a problem I’d already solved.
For my home broadband, I used to rely on 4G. But now I have fibre in my area, so I treated myself to a new Deco kit upgrading from my very old Deco setup.
I pay for 900mbps, and I get 870mbps in every single room of the house now. It’s an incredible piece of kit, and how it sorts out frequencies, communicates on multiple channels, and the distance it covers too. Highly recommend!
Not only that, we saw an Amazon delivery bot at a crossing waiting for the green lights to cross, alongside several humans. Blade Runner has arrived. (ignoring the flying things)
I’ve seen Waymo vehicles on test in London on my Friday trips - bizarrely always in York Way up the side of Kings Cross Station. If they get a licence for passenger services I’m going to have to try one.
I’ve got the Deco P9 and it’s getting a bit long in the tooth although it still works fine been looking at an upgrade and good to hear the new Deco’s are able to handle the higher speeds at home
I’ve got those and they work very well. Only thing is that the ethernet ports have completely packed in on one of them, which seems to be a common issue.
I recently got some Deco X10 (AX1500). I guess more on the basic side of what Deco can do but I am very happy with the upgrade from the previous stuff I had.
Two are connected by ethernet from the router and two by WiFi. Covers all the house and that’s enough for me

I have it in wifi router mode, with the cable from the fibre box that Trooli set up going straight to the deco. 6Ghz is disabled as I thought that meant that it would then use the 6ghz network as a backbone to support the mesh network?
The Asus mesh router system I have has an additional 5ghz that is used solely for a WiFi backhaul between the mesh nodes. I seem to remember the Tp-link ones didn’t do that. The just connected to one another without dedicated backhaul. But then my set was older, so maybe they added in a backhaul option on the new ones.
I do, that’s why I didn’t switch it on, I thought it was either it will broadcast 6ghz for devices to use, OR use it to power the mesh I will see if switching it on makes a difference
