Is that a typo or did you really go from 15 Pro Max to 15 Pro? I bought the 16 Pro back in May so won’t be upgrading next month.
I have 16 pro in titanium and it is nice!
Recently bought an iPad Air in blue. It’s lovely. Yesterday had to buy a usbc plug cos Apple don’t provide them and all the others I have are older usb.
It’s a typo. It should’ve said 16. And I tend to agree with the logic of most, there really are not many reasons to bother upgrading.
For me the camera is everything, otherwise I’d still have my midnight green 11 pro (great colour, great phone). So the additional of ProRAW for wide angle made a huge difference.
Today could be the year I upgrade my 13 Pro, I just want USB C and better cameras. Battery life improvements would be appreciated too.
I think the new design mockups look disgusting for the next iPhone, so excellent choice. Will be keeping my 16 pro max for the foreseeable future. It’s a great phone
I would have still been on a 13 pro till this year if the kids hadn’t needed new phones so they got the 13 pros last year.
How do you find the smaller size compared to the Pro Max? I got used to it surprisingly quickly and now prefer it.
Don’t know as yet as it hasn’t arrived, will do tomorrow. But fine I think, I only went for the pro max last time as I wanted the 5x optical zoom which the normal size now has.
So to update, much prefer it. I only got the pro max so I could benefit from the 5x optical zoom, with the pro having that now I was quite happy to move back.
Much easier to hold in the hand and use.
My old iPad had been playing up so I went and bought an A16 11” iPad yesterday.
Had an “interesting” time setting it up, though.
It all went fine up to the bit where you photograph the pattern, but no pattern. Fair enough, use the code.
Then it took 45 minutes to transfer content, but quite a few non Apple apps didn’t download.
Then I noticed that it would connect to WiFi for only a few seconds, then disconnect, then reconnect, and so on.
Turned WiFi off and on - no difference. Forget the network then reconnect - no difference. Turn the iPad off then on - no difference. Check the internet and find that there are a lot of WiFi issues reported with this particular model ![]()
My final resort, I rebooted the router. Success!!
Anyone have any idea why that would be the problem? It’s never happened in my entire life.
Just to add, I actually bought two iPads (Mr & Mrs), and both had the same issue.
What is your router?
Is it a virgin media hub?
It’s a ZTE 4G Wireless Router Model:MF286D
Nooo. It’s a ZTE 4G Wireless Router Model:MF286D
The whole disconnecting thing smells a bit of it possibly flapping between 2GHz and 5Ghz
Is your ssid 5ghz only or dual or split (different ssid’s per frequency)?
Good question, but I don’t know the answer offhand (I’m not at home atm).
It does chime with something someone said on Reddit earlier this year, though. They separated the two into separate SSIDs and that worked for them.
My order of this arrived yesterday and I’m just about to pull a pint to sample it

The pebblebee tags are alright but lack UWB for more precise finding. The Moto tag is the only one with UWB at the moment, can get them on Amazon, Argos and John Lewis
Still annoys me that the pixel 10 doesn’t have uwb, only the pro models. Same with the base s25.
Can currently get the Samsung tags working on other androids with some extra features.
