When trying to sign onto app, after entering phone number it says no account exists. So I then say create account and after then entering phone number it states that an account already exists…
Anyway out of this loop? Have been emailing monzo but very slow and no one seems to know why.
**If you already have an account with Monzo and you’re trying to login, and you are asked to enter your phone number, this always means you have entered the wrong email address. Always.
Try the steps in the 4th section of this post:
Usually, you’ll get the welcome screen where you can select ‘I already have an account’:
You then enter the same, correct, email address you used to initially sign up and get a Magic Link emailed to that email address to tap on to get access to the app.
Any chance you’re using a different email address to the one you would have signed up with? For example if you use Gmail, @gmail and @googlemail might be the same email mailbox physically, but only one will match what Monzo has registered. Just a thought.
