Surely all the app is doing is showing a barcode - the same as what would be printed out?
It’s a QR code on the app, not a barcode. Presumably not all places can cope with the QR code.
The one that’s the cheapest.
I’ve been fairly lucky with flights to get mostly aisle seats (preferred as I get anxious and pee a lot ) or a window seat. Never the middle.
Random assignment because that’s free. If there are two or more travelling, they give you seats together (Ryanair makes a point of not doing this).
Emergency exit. Children aren’t allowed to sit in them.
Row 1 is also an emergency exit so no kids!
Be there in 10 days
Just need adults only flights now and I’m all signed up.
Trying Mojitos for the first time in Portugal now. Great recommendation, they are lovely!
Managed to get here for only £4 too. Trip.com running great offers atm
So many
The Lake District is the most beautiful place in England for hiking imo, and Skye is the most beautiful place in the U.K (out of midge season!) The best coastal walks I feel are either Somerset or (probably preferably) Dorset / Purbecks. The Peak District is also stunning and clearly has some great hikes.
There’s loads more, but for me those are the highlights / places I keep going back to.
I’d recommend somewhere around Hawkshead, Conniston or Grizedale sort of area if hiking is the main goal. Windermere is extremely touristy and not very near the good hikes. I haven’t been to the North Lake District much but I’ve heard the scenery isn’t quite as dramatic.
We were in Alvor a few years back and it rained one night and there was one hell of a thunderstorm. Next day it was lovely
I’m keeping a keen eye on the weather as we fly back to Portugal next Friday and so far it’s looking okay
Back in Alvor for a week
Resort is busier than expected but its good to be back. Having a cheeky drink while we wait for our room to be ready
Only just got back from NY and Norway and those photos make me want to go away again and have a lovely beer.
Something about a beer abroad that feels different.
In Norway it’s mainly the £10 price tag that I note as ‘different’
Hope you enjoyed it though, my favourite country!
We’ve just booked Sharm El Sheik, Egypt for next year.
34° in May, I’m going to melt
Oh yes it was very expensive. And we stupidly thought we’d get a bottle of wine from a supermarket for an evening and they don’t sell alcohol after 18:00 The hotel had VIP drinks at 75 NOK (£5.26) for 400ml we were eligible for so we went there instead.
Pretty much anything cost at least £20 per person but we had fun. Booked a basic room at the Radisson and got upgraded to their top suite - given this was our first ever stay that’s quite the upgrade.
But I got to see the Scream and Starry Night at the Munch Museum
Beer tastes better abroad
I like this place as they do their own craft beers and also have a selection from all over the world
One last cheeky trip of the year, booked. Off to see the mayans in Mexico. Been over 10 years since I’ve flow long haul and the wife never has.
