You can book a room with access which is around £250 a night. Regular rooms from about £160 a night.
Ahoy! I’ve been quiet this last week as I spent my birthday up on the Isle of Skye and fell in love with the place. Will drop a bunch of snaps in here shortly whilst I catch up
Anyone else been to Skye?
Once years ago, bloody love it up there and have often mooted the idea of moving there
But mainly stick around the Glencoe area
My girlfriend has been sending me links for homes ever since we got back
You do!
I stayed near Dunvegan and have become addicted to the bread from the oldest bakery on Skye. Their loaves are essentially huge rolls/baps/cobs/etc
I did the Skye trail in May. Absolutely stunning island. So much nature (eagles, whales, sea otters…). Hoping to go back next year!
Can anyone suggest any good countries and/or all inclusive hotels suitable for a young family. They’re 3 & 5 Year old.
Flight time from Manchester under 5 hours, and a hotel with a kids club that has lots of activities
Nothing so far compares to when we went to Antalyia and stayed in a hotel that had an absolutely amazing kids club. It had a special kids kitchen, woodworking shop, water park, arts and crafts centre, ice cream factory, snack bar, outdoor climbing, kids shows, kids games and that’s just to name a few.
1 - view from our balcony on Lake Ohrid in Macedonia
2 - sunset view of Lake Ohrid and a boat!
Highly recommend!
I prefer a paper boarding pass tbf. It can be folded up and put inside my passport.
I only have one on my phone in case the paper one gets lost.
I have the paper one in case the phone goes flat.
What about the people who don’t have a smartphone? Yes, there are people like that!
Good - they’ve just made me print out a boarding pass for my flight back from Tirana. Pain in the arse finding a printer out here
Not all airports are able to accommodate the app with other airlines? Wonder how Ryanair gets around this?
According to the article all Ryanair passengers already have the app. I’m not sure if having the app is already a requirement (I’ve never flown Ryanair).
Emm, no, they don’t. I know one who’s flying with them in a couple of weeks and doesn’t have it. I’m sure there are lots more.
“It also means, once we get everybody onto the app, nobody will ever again pay for a boarding pass at an airport - the airport check in fee will be gone.
Check in fee?
Who pays for a boarding pass?
The people who can’t read basic instructions and turn up at the airport without being checked in (ergo no boarding pass).
I thought that might be the case. This is what O’Leary thinks (or wants you to think he thinks):
Everybody who travels with us has the app, the mobile boarding pass is on the app and we’ve got to move more and more people that way.
