Why doesn’t the Monzo app work on 4G?

Hey @Gemma1 app itself shouldn’t be not loading based on your connection type. Do other apps and websites work ok on 4G?

Are you on Android ? Check your app has mobile data access granted, or arnt using a data saver profile when off wifi :slight_smile:

I’ve got an iPhone
I asked once about it but apparently bad signal? Despite full 4G bars and I found WiFi
I don’t know :woman_shrugging:

Try uninstall and reinstall, might be some cached config. A fresh install can work magic ! :slight_smile:

I do find I have to turn off 4G sometimes but none of my apps or websites load not just particular ones

I also get this occasionally on the Three network. It happens more often when roaming, but occasionally in the U.K. as well.

It’s three I’m on. 4G in Glasgow city centre is unusable sometimes!

We get what we pay for, I guess. I find that 4G speeds are the same as 3G. I’ve recently reduced my data allowance and bought an EE mifi router, mainly for roaming in Europe. I get the impression that 3 throttle speeds in Europe.

Go into Settings -> Mobile Data and make sure Monzo is enabled there, otherwise the system will prevent it from using the mobile network.

Strange Monzo works on 3G and 4g here dbs while I am roaming, I am on ee.

I guess if you email help@monzo.com from the email address you use for Monzo they’ll be able to help you. Or call the number on the card.
