Following on from this discussion which was started by @chrisdeeming & following @leonardh’s suggestion, this open wiki (which anyone who’s been around for a while can edit), lists all of the retailers who allow users to make contactless transactions using Apple / Google pay for more than £30.
How to check whether a retailer doesn't impose the limit
If you don’t see a retailer on this list but you do see the contactless icon on the card machine after the amount’s been entered, try using Apple / Google Pay & it should still work..if it does, add them to this list
Adding retailers to this Wiki
Please add any retailers to this list in alphabetical order.
What to do if you have an issue making a payment with one of the retailers on this list
If you’ve been unable to make one of these payments with a retailer on this list, please post the issue as a separate Help topic & if the community / team can’t get to the bottom of the issue, the retailer will be removed from this list or a note with a heads up will be added.
