"Sum Up"

Anyone familiar with this? Some local shops use it and was wondering are they restricted to £30 via contactless/Google pay or not?

On their website it says
Transactions of £30/€30 or less normally don’t need to be authorised, but as soon as the amount is larger, your customer will need to authorise the transaction via PIN or signature. (This limit is set by the bank of the cardholder and can vary from bank to bank.)

If you’ve got Apple Pay or google pay it works above £30

thanks dude

Contactless with a debit card is restricted to £30 by the banks in he UK. ApplePay and GooglePay and others don’t have a limit unless the shops has put one in place which they do via their payment devices provider such as Verifone etc.
