I have a new phone and phone number.
I have downloaded the Monzo app to the new phone but have had to go through the initial set up again and it didn’t recognise my e mail etc.

You have used the wrong email. If you use the correct email you will log in, not register for a new account.

There have been several reports of users being unable to run the app (before sign-up is complete) and also after sign-up/verification has been done. There are several common causes for these situations, detailed below:-
