My account is not working at all

I am sure. Ok. I opened the account with a different email, I have also tried this one and yet is not working. This is frustrating. I have never experienced something like this before as even when I have used an incorrect email for another apps in the past, they are able to sort things out straight away. This is just wrong.

I have tried everything in my hands to log in. I am not signing up. I have deleted the app so many times that I’ve lost count. I have spelt correctly the email and yet it asks me for a telephone number. I am not signing up, I am logging in. But thank you, I appreciate your willingness to help.

Can you screenshot what you see after deleting the app, reinstalling it and immediately after opening it?

It looks like you’re not experiencing an earlier issue someone had where they were stuck on the verify number screen even after deleting the app.

Phone the number on your card (from a number that isn’t withheld) and they can take you through security

This error seems to be when people use I different email address

I don’t care anymore. They have ruined my day. I mean, I don’t know who’s managing my account anymore if them or a thug. I don’t know how much money I have left or how much I have spent. This is insane. They are definitely not the bank of the future. They are so ready to tell you you’re overdraft (£5 maximum once) but they are not there when you need them. This is not a huge problem, is something simple that should be solved in a minute.

How did you get logged out of the app in the first place?

Yeah, you’ll have to ring up. To me it looks like you are using a different email to the one you signed up with - obviously it’s possible something else has gone wrong but we won’t be able to double check for you on here unfortunately.

Did you happen to sign up using the @googlemail.com version of your email address, rather than your @gmail.com one? Could that be it?

I don’t know. It just happened. I have no idea how I was logged out and I am not interested anymore. I just want to reopen the account, take my money out and look for a bank that has physical branches. We brag so much about technology and not having to walk and make queues in the banks but yet we have no humans to help us with the problems they themselves create. I mean, this is just ridiculous. It doesn’t matter if I used the wrong account a thousand times, I should be able to log in with the right one. And if I used a thousand wrong emails, they should be able to call me and confirm that it was me using the thousand wrong emails to log in to my account. I just don’t understand this. I just don’t.

The telephone number is useless. And I cannot use the proper words to express my anger as they have bots that tell you you shouldn’t swear. I mean they have bots for stupid things but they don’t have real people to help with real problems. It’s been 4 hours since I first tried to log in and yet and I haven’t been able to get an answer from them.

What happened when you called them? could you not get through?
