That’s the way it works, yes.The money came in in that period so that’s where it’s shown.
Going off your description, if you got paid early and it happened at the very end of your Summary period, then the Summary report will be all the activity PLUS the ‘extra’ salary which arrived early - which is correct.
You may want to edit your Summary reporting period to match (make it start on the same date as the salary was received early?)

What time do the incoming payments for Monday usually show?
I know I’m due to be paid on Monday and my employer has said the wages were sent. We are small business so we got our wages slips when the money is sent.
you should see the incoming payment around 9am (today). But this is only for BACS payments.
Hopefully it will show soon then… unless employer doesnt pay via BACS which is odd.

Mine has only just appeared, so will be able to get paid today at 4PM instead of monday! 
Perhaps there’s a delay today due to all the new people using the feature, might mean increased salaries being paid into Monzo accounts?

That’s the idea. Customer with their salaries paid into monzo are significantly more profitable for them.
Is there a delay in the payments today? I haven’t got a notification about it yet.
There seems to be multiple reports of not receiving a notification for an incoming BACS payment today.
Suspiciously the day after the Salary Sorter meltdown too.
You can claim it early by clicking the upcoming transaction, there’s an entry point there

I’ve also received no notification at all today of any upcoming BACS payment. I am due to be paid on Monday.
The issue yesterday was with lots of things happening concurrently, we’re minimising the risk of large spikes and testing our levers. Paid early is accessible through the upcoming transaction too

no feed notification for Monday’s payment here, either.
Do you have no upcoming feed item or just no notification?
Another pay early for me
Salary due Monday but I’ve got it now in time for the weekend. And more importantly the 10% site wide discount that’s currently on ebay

I suspect the issue is that the greyed out transaction (upcoming payment) isn’t being displayed in the feed.
I can’t state this from personal experience (my last BACS payment was claimed early on Wednesday) - but multiple people here seem to be saying they’ve not received the usual notification or feed entry today, for expected BACS payments on Monday.
Are you sure it’s a Bacs payment and are you sure it’s due Monday? This very likely won’t be related to our Paid Early stuff
I’ve just had a double check, none of the actions we’ve taken would have impacted these upcoming transactions. If they’re in our system at the right stage, we’re showing them
