Now you’ve forced us onto the new app where is the paid early option? Or even an option to see the upcoming payments? Rolled out in a rush and could have done with a but of a guide before we were all forced into it

If your salary is shown greyed out, it is available. Tap on it and then the Get Paid Now button.

If you have a greyed out entry, it means there is an expected payment (via BACS) incoming.
But you can’t claim it until 4pm on the day prior* to the planned (‘normal’) payment date - the Monzo app will produce a notification prompting you to claim early. Or ignore it… your choice!
*unless the planned receipt date is a Monday or on a Tuesday following a bank holiday, in which case you can claim it on the previous Friday @ 4pm.

If I’m due to get paid Monday, the money will be available this Friday. When will I get the notification that it’s coming? I know you can get the money at 4pm Friday, but does it make you aware before this or does it just pop up at 4pm? Thanks

I get my Salary paid in Friday for the first time to my Monzo Account, but I’ve not received an alert from Monzo saying that it’s coming in??

Sorry, I should have been more precise, why have I not got a greyed out incoming alert? 2-3 days early before I can pull it through manually the day before I’m supposed to be paid?
You get the alert the working day prior to when you are due to get paid.
So if you are due to get paid on Friday, you’ll see it greyed out around 9am on Thursday and you’ll be able to claim it around 4pm on Thursday.

So I have just claimed my early payment. Now, after I have already received it, a “Your money is waiting for you” alert is showing at the top of my feed. When I click this it takes me back to the screen where I claim my money early (because it was already claimed).

Just had the same notification (iOS 13.1)
Think its a pre-scheduled notification if you have an eligible BACS payment - either way a bug

Same here. You can try and claim again but it won’t actually happen 
Best thing is to clear the entry from your feed and move on.

I’m due to get paid tomorrow for the first time into Monzo but there is no greyed our entry today. Has something likely gone wrong or will it be later today?

You will see the notification around about 9am or just about after that. You won’t see it any earlier than that.

Is it always around 9am? If I still can’t see it after 10am does that mean my salary is not coming through tomorrow?
From experience, it is sometime in the morning when the greyed-out feed entry appears.
Also, if you’re using the new app navigation, it may be worth refreshing the feed by tapping on ‘Payments’ and then tapping on ‘Home’ - sometimes the greyed-out entry then appears at the top of the feed.

No. (It all depends on the method of payment the employer uses.)

Just got my spending summary through, and because I got paid early it is telling me that I ended last month with what I had left + the salary that has been paid in. I assume this isn’t supposed to be the case? Or am I misunderstanding?
