I’ve gone for a simple, ‘move my travel card money from my travel card pot, after purchase’ as a first pass. Works perfectly - now I just need a payday trigger so the TC allowance can be moved into the pot automatically in the first place.

Just incase anyone wants to use this, here is the steps to create a daily saving amount to reach a total by a set date:
Make a copy of my sheet to your google drive (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1z6Q27L2ZB7u-TyvUPWvBeubyXLQhDS5LwZwjTT9-Lk4/edit?usp=sharing)
Change the white cells to values that suit :
Create a new IFFT Trigger for sheet to run when CELL B1 CHANGES - It’s coloured so unreadable to stop it being changed in error.
Everyday at the time you put in B9 it will run and move the value in B7 to you pot.
If you save any ad-hoc amounts before the end date, update B8 to show and it will change how much need to save (just realised a slight error in this logic as I type, as it wouldn’t know how much you’ve saved on days so far, will think of way around this and update - but will still share)
your IFTTT action needs to look like this:
Thought I would share the logic behind this IFTTT I’ve made, to see if might help give some ideas to other on how to get Sheet to do the leg work for some great IFTTTs
Last note, always make sure your sheet settings are set to update every minute, via the file menu. This will enable it to use =NOW() functionality to keep a cell updating to cause the chain reaction for a call to update as a trigger.

I like this one! Does it work as instantly as it needs to?
I’ve just created a new “modern parenting” recipe.
Create a pocket money pot for for your child / children in Monzo and then integrate IFTTT /Monzo / Alexa.
Now I can say “Alexa, Childs name has been good” and £0.50 is added to the pocket money pot and the reverse for “Alexa, childs name has been naughty”
