Just what is the biggest complaint about Monzo? 🤔

My other (minor) complaint is the new design of the “card” page on iOS, I still can’t get used to it. :sob:

International drug lords, or people with family outside the uk…

I am gonna go with Apple Pay BUT also add the below:

That annoying graph thing at the top (sorry Hugo).

The fact I can not hide my balance be it blurred or just off.

Otherwise the rest I can deal with

I voted but it isn’t a major problem or “deal breaker”. It’s just a tiny bit more inconvenient that will be resolved soon, so I have no complaints tbh

You missed an option for the general lack of any exciting features right now. That is my only gripe, nothing has really changed much in 3+ months. It is a basic bank account right now, not a cutting edge fintech bank account.

I know it was in preview, etc., etc., etc. but I had expected it to add some test features at some point these last few months.

Voted - Apple Pay…

What about overdraft?!

I think Monzo should offer a card in the Midnight Blue colour that the app uses & that was used for the letter that accompanied my card when first I joined Monzo. A simple choice of the two colours would be nice & it sticks to the current brand design.

Yeah, that old chestnut. Another one I forgot to stick on the list.

In the meantime, you’re welcome.

But the sweet sweet hot coral tho!

Remember it is impossible to keep everyone happy. Changing the hot coral card would anger far more people than it would satisfy, and remove a massive marketing tool.

 I can think of quite a few security features (TLS w/ cert pinning in the app, PIN auth for sensitive actions, HSTS on monzo.me, well separated architecture following the principle of least privilege [1]) all assured by external pentests [2]. Are we using the same bank?

Unless your complaint is due to a lack of security to access your device … but hey, that’s on you :slightly_smiling_face:

This. Times ten billion.

Do you have a Fitbit Ionic??

Yehman! I’m the other guy in the UK with one.

Wow, more popular than I thought!!

Well at least you can buy a takeaway coffee when you’re next out for a run (when you might not have Apple, Android or Samsung Pay with you), maybe you and the other Ionic owner can share experiences!!

Monzo must have kicked themselves missing out on the ‘exclusive’ deal with Fitbit Pay.

Never really understood the big deal about Apple Pay, by the time you’ve got your phone out and set it up to pay you could have just paid via contactless payment. I’m definitely not worried about this feature.

Apple Pay is okay with a phone, but you are right it’s nothing exceptional - you still got to take out a phone.

Apple Pay really shines when you’ve got an Apple Watch though.

You don’t need to set it up. Just hold your phone to the terminal and it will do it automagically
Compared to digging out my wallet then finding the right card and putting everything away again, holding my phone to the terminal is much easier :+1:

My phone is always in my hand. My wallet is buried at the bottom of my handbag. Also, Android Pay is super easy. Touch finger to phone to unlock, tap terminal.
