Ive been a loyal monzo customer since 2018. My partner has moved in with me and we are looking to open a joint account.
I dont have the option to open a joint account in the app.
When I search for help, I get an option to open a joint account but I’m told it’s not available.
What is going on?
If you search the forum you’ll find plenty of discussion about this.
I did. Nothing showed up.

As @DaveJ says this has been discussed a lot.
If you don’t have the option to open one you’re not eligible. The only people who know why won’t/can’t say. Move on, try Starling.
I mean, that’s the right answer.
But this whole situation is most unsatisfactory. Kill or cure UK joint accounts. Please.
I agree. But not much we can do. It’s another issue with Monzo
Ive just applied for Starling Bank… sorry Monzo.
Many of us here use Starling for joint accounts, in my opinion Starling is the best all round bank anyway.
Don’t upset the fanboys.
And yet I see no fan boys running to the post to defend Monzo or go off on one.

It was a joke off historical events, not to instigate
