Oh the irony
They’re doing really well with this whole “keeping us all updated” aren’t they?
If they’re holding off due to fundamental issues such as direct debits not working, why not come out and say so?
Because, fundamentally, JaJa never had any intention of keeping anyone informed. It just sounds like the right thing to promise.
cf. Starling when it closed its forum. “We can’t wait to keep the conversation going” as it frantically deletes its main method of communication.
I think things are slowly moving with jaja. I’ve had emails about my statements now, I’ve been emailed about a new direct debit provider (Go Cardless) and I’ve just been emailed about the confirmation of setup for GC.
Again, remember they are still effectively beta, so things may not work as expected.
I too had issues with DD, but as @tbowditch mentioned, that’s been rectified with a change of DD provider.
Anyone with an account had an update? They seem to be active on social media a bit again so just wondering if we’re due some info.
Well I’m down about 40 places in the queue in the last couple of weeks so no idea what the hell is going on lol!
I promise you they haven’t been on-boarding as I’ve been 5th since the week they stopped adding customers
Literally at the end or just near the end?
I go to the homepage and enter my email address as if I was signing up to the list.
I navigate in from the link that they email you when you join. It ends in your unique code e.g.:
I joined the waiting list, heavily promoted the card and then got my card issued, from my signup to my card arriving was only about 4ish weeks.
Gotta say I totally love the card and the way in which it works, it usdeffo my primary card although currently only a £500 limit which I think is the same for everyone onbiarding just now.
Jaja’s website seems to have undergone an overhaul recently. Has new content and has some more emphasis on partnerships/platform. Also has a careers/hiring page.
Waiting list seems to have been replaced with an invite request box. Seems people can request invite by 28 June to get £10 cashback.
Full launch imminent perhaps?
Wasn’t they offering the first 5,000 or 10,000 something or the other? I remember reading something about it on their site a while ago when I signed up to their waiting list.
Yeah they originally said the cashback was for the first 5000 onboarded users. They seem to have removed that cut-off and replaced it with a date-based cut-off.
I got an invite today so they are adding customers
Where were you in the queue when you last checked?
I was number 11… Fingers crossed it won’t be too long
80 something but I also took part in their crowdfunding which may have given me a higher priority than the queue position would indicate by itself
mine no longer tells me where i am in the queue?
