Just tried on my iPad (iPadOS 16.whatever) and it works but I’d feel like a bit of a dickhead getting my iPad out to scan at the till

The free drink QRs constantly change (probably to stop people screenshotting them) but I’ve added my card to Apple Pay so hopefully my student discount might work. Will report back whenever I go in there next.

To be fair, as a returning iPhone customer it’s been great, and fairly stable.

The only bug I had (text boxes + send button hiding behind the keyboard in iMessage/WhatsApp) looks like it’s fixed

The first beta has been soooper stable. And HSBC has worked without a glitch. But I’m an idiot so here we go.

Oh Lordy.
Can’t screen shot it, but emoji in safari seem to show full brightness on my screen, with a bright outline square, opposed to the same brightness as my screen settings or other writing on the page. Stand out like a sore thumb.

ah damn it. It seems to be fixed in iMessage and WhatsApp, but it was always intermittent so it might come back for me tomorrow

Does anyone know if in iOS17 it does that thing where a photo taken in HDR goes extremely bright?
Not sure if it’s something I have turned on but when scrolling though instagram mainly some photos display at full brightness with the rest of the screen at my normal brightness?
It’s anything powered by YoYo. My work coffee shop app does the same thing.
Also jarred by the emoticons now being super bright
