It does something to the rest of the brightness of the whole page which is the most annoying part.
Also does it in chrome. No escape.
It’s bloody annoying not so much during the day but at night time it’s horrible I wish there was a way I could disable it in third party apps
It’s actually based on Safari (WebKit) on iOS, and Chrome(Blink) on computers
This has been fixed, no long sending bar at the top and then a fail. They actually just send now.
I like the idea of being a little glowing person!
Pretty sure it’s the ‘Allow Website Tinting’ toggle in Safari settings and the toggle seems to be useless ie. Websites are tinted when the toggle is off.

Curious that they’ve dropped the “Dev” from the Beta but still reference it on the website.

It’s transparent PNGs, like I said.
Most of the emoji on this forum are spat out as embedded PNG images and not as the emoji font.
Don’t know about @Stompy but I have that in real life, too
I think he means they’ve copied and pasted it and not changed iPhone to iPad.
I just updated the text description, sorry should’ve been less lazy
Not the good ones, no.
Edit: oh wait it’s doing a bright HDR fringe around that one for me. Like a 4px or so bright white border hugging around his little face.
Oh I see! You learn something new every day!
5% battery life used since 11am, much improved.
