Also as it looks like a reverse lightning connector I think some clunky fingered people would break the connection on the phone thus causing issues for Apple.
iAP2 over USB-C would be interesting to see but no, not happening any time soon.
Download the profile, put it up on an HTTP(S) server you control (Public Dropbox works but you should ideally remove it when you’re done). Then go Settings → General → Privacy, put the selection over Send to Apple under Diagnostic Data and press play/pause → Add Profile. Enjoy and try not to break your Apple TV or you’ll need to buy the cable anyway to restore.
Perfect, the new HomeKit updates take it from an unusable mess to up to the tiers of the best home control and automation systems I’ve ever worked with.
Haven’t done my watch yet but iOS 10 seems much more stable than the previous betas. For an early Apple beta its definitely feeling pretty solid. I have a suspicion there’s development of unannounced features for iPhone 7 going on this now…
Its not to bad actually, I find iCloud process maxes out and fans spin up like mental, Citrix receiver does not load up and there is a few other niggles but very useable.
I don’t get why they are on another BETA of El Capitain if macOS is around the corner.
@anon72173902 -
I’m not a developer so I have only the Public Beta installed on my phone (not sure when the next Public beta is due)
In fact the only reason I installed the Public Beta on my phone was because I thought it would give me access to the WatchOS 3 beta - not realising that there is no Public Beta of WatchOS 3.
So I was wondering why you regret putting the dev beta on your watch? By all reports it seems to seriously improve the whole what experience.
