Hello, I’m Dave and I thought I would introduce myself even though I’ve already contributed to a few topics already.
I’m a physicist and teacher by training, but I now work as a freelance consultant mainly working with an IT based business providing services internationally. I also test and break software, and then document it for customers.
I’ve always had an interest in banking and payment systems, and am particularly enthusiastic about ethical finance and mutuals such as credit unions/building societies.
I’m going to find it interesting to see how Monzo grows because it feels like it could be a force for good/change in banking. The transparency and openness shown my Monzo so far is what people need so that they can understand how banking works and how it affects their lives.

Hello all, I’m Karl and like Dave, I’ve been involved in the forum already but decided it’s time to introduce myself a bit.
I’m a digital director at a healthcare advertising and strategy agency based in London. I joined the company as employee number 3 and have seen us grow to 25 employees in 2 years. As such, I’ve always been a huge fan of supporting startups and being a part of something new as it grows into something incredibly impactful.
Like Dave, I’m incredibly excited to see how Monzo grows and how it’s going to disrupt banking. Having switched to it as my full-time banking service from being a beta tester initially, I’ve seen much more positive spending habits and I’ve been more aware of my finances on a daily basis (sometimes upsettingly so…).

Hello! I’m Michael. New to the community today, but I signed up for Monzo in March. I mostly signed up because of the free use abroad as I had a day trip to Vienna planned for April and I was fed up with going to the Bureau de Change and carrying a load of cash around!
However, after using my Monzo card in Vienna, I started to appreciate the simplicity of the app, the instant notifications and the fact there is a community for assistance - so I started to move my direct debits over to Monzo and I now intend to use Monzo as my main current account, only using Lloyds for paying in any cash - though I’m mostly cashless these days anyway 
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to taking part in the Monzo community.

I’ve been here a good while but never been one to be a talker(until recently!) I’m Danny, hence the username. I work on an application success team as a technical engineer! Clients dotted all over the world, so always fun getting to help different people out. Have a bit of an obsession for reading about the latest tech and how it’s going to evolve society and be used to keep pushing boundaries. huge fan of monzo ! Anyways hopefully get chance to chat sometime!

I was there on August 2nd 2016 when the first coral prepaid Mondo cards were given to a bunch of super excited early adopters!
I’m a proud beta tester and I’m very happy to use this platform or the in App chat to provide feedback that I think might ease our daily life as users and customers.

Hi everyone. I’m Dave. I got a Monzo account recently after a friend of mine make fun of me for searching for a cash machine (I always resented the delay between paying for things by card and the pending completion on my old bank accounts). Monzo has changed everything!

Hi everyone I am a newish Monzo user. I originally signed up when it was Mondo but did not use the system until recently when I needed to switch bank accounts. I love the app and the bank. My only issue is how bright the card is but at least if I drop it I will see it.
