Help... locked out of the app!

I have tried everything. It’s the correct email address 100%. It sends me the special enail with the log in link, it leads me to the add and it tells me i wasn’t accepted for an account


There are 2 possible issues: icloud restore and incorrect login. Can you login to the web portal (https://web.monzo.com) using the correct email address?

Do you have access to a computer?:

  • If yes, on the computer, open a new browser window and go to https://web.monzo.com & follow the instructions to login, using the same email address you used to sign up to Mono with. Monzo will send an email to the email address which as a button to click on called ‘Log in to Monzo’. When clicked on, a new browser tab will open, showing the basic details of your Monzo account
  • If no, on your phone, do the same as the above (open a new browser window…)

Can you access your Monzo account via the web portal?

(Don’t forget to permanently delete the magic link email from Monzo)

It sends an email regardless of whether the email address is correct or not.
