Dynamic Month Reset Dates for Trends/Spending

Currently under the trends section we are able to change the date on which each month resets to a fixed day (i.e. the 1st of each month).

However, given many people often get their salary paid on different dates each month (for example the last Friday of each month), it would be helpful to have the months reset in a slightly more dynamic manner where we can choose a day of the week relative to the month.

Add custom dates to trends ie Every four weeks

I’m not sure if I’ve put this in the right category but I get paid every four weeks so it would be good if I could set a custom date for the trends page rather than having to reset it manually. I know I can set this custom parameter for budgets so seems odd it’s not available for trends The reason I say this is because I get paid every four weeks

So now that this has been implemented in a sense. I think a thread to discuss how this works and any input from a monzo employee regarding this would be helpful. Custom summary dates

It would be great to have custom summary dates eg. 13 APR to 12 MAY to track particular spending during the period. As the feature now only able to customise the dates

Hey, so I pay myself every quarter to cover my bills (this goes into my monzo joint account) and every month for play money to spend on what I want (this goes into my sole account. At the moment the summary says ‘left over this month’ but I’d like to be able to set a custom range,e.g., 1 Jan - 31 March and it give me a prediction on my money for that period. Hopefully this can make it into your backlog

Custom Start Dates

So at the moment I’m paid on the last working Thursday of the month. It’s a total pain because in October (for example) there are 35 days between pay checks. The Monzo app only lets me set a recurrent date as either the x date of every month or x day recurring every 4 weeks. Neither of these are of use to me as there are some months that are effectively 5 weeks long. Any chance we could get a set the last working x of the month? Or does anyone know of a clever workaround? Cheers!

Summary Date selection

Hey - would anyone else find it beneficial with the Summary functionality, to be able to select a start and end date for the period you wish to summarise? My salary is always paid on the last Friday of the month, so sometimes a 4 week, sometimes a 5 week period So the 3 options available don’t really fit

I get paid lunar pay, every 4 weeks. 13 times a year. Monthly doesn’t really offer me any help as I work everything out on weeks. Would love to see this changed to offer more variety!
