Card Holders vs Purse/Wallet

Still the Bellroy card sleeve for me.

You can even fold up a few notes if you are that way inclined…

The TUMI wallet that came with my Curve card (on the 50£ “black” or premium plan) does the job for me. :+1:t2:

I like this wallet but find that if you put too many cards in it they start to bend a little…

Thanks to you, I’m now the proud owner of a secrid cardholder :sunglasses: I like the modular nature of it too as I’m now looking to get a moneyband for it next.

I have this

I downsized my wallet a fair while ago - it was mostly loyalty cards - and ended up deciding I didn’t really get any value from Tesco / Sainsbury’s all knowing my shopping habits - I ditched all the non essentials.

Now I carry:

  • Monzo
  • Amex
  • Curve
  • Drivers License
(and my coffee stamp card at my local shop).

In this:

Which I nabbed in the sale - it’s got all the card holders laid out well for me - an outer one for my most accessed card (and for easy tappage on the tube) - and the lesser used ones inside.

Might switch down to a card holder soon, but generally I like somewhere to stuff receipts if I ever have the need.

I’d recommend this secrid cardholder as for a similar price to what you paid for the Dow, the secrid cardholder also holds 6 cards but with the added benefit of RFID protection.

Curve has also helped me reduce my wallet size too & I have gotten into the habit of adding receipts to Monzo as photos.

Would a retailer accept this as proof in the event of a return?

Probably not

I don’t see why not. All the information needed to match the purchase with their own records will be on there.

Edit: at least, there probably isn’t a good reason that they shouldn’t accept it.

Do you have more photos of this? The ones on the website are not descriptive.

Sure - the websites not to clear!

Front / Inside / back

Can hold 3 cards in the left flap, one on the right flap, one on the back. And there’s a slot to tuck 1 card into too. And a cash section.

Yeah I like the curve for that too. Though I’ve only actually used it twice it’s got 6 other cards on it!

Do you use the secrid? My one worry is it would be too firm/stiff in my pocket. Do you find it comfortable?

I carry this from Aliexpress. Cheap and solid as a rock. Cards are held securely, even if you shake it upside down. Not a fan of the front pouch for coins, but it’s great for say stamp cards or notes.

Interesting. Curve has fully replaced my Monzo Hot Coral Card so I use it often.

My cardholder literally arrived yesterday (loaded it with 6 necessary cards) so I can’t answer that question yet, however it is very compact so I imagine it will be comfortable in the pocket.

Thanks! How does it hold cash?

This looks ok:

I’ll be looking for a new wallet soon, cards have started falling out of mine :frowning:

Wondering what suggestions anyone has?

I carry around 10-15 cards, occasionally carry cash and I don’t like coin pouches or clear windows.

I should probably slim down the amount of cards I carry though.

The wallet tends to live in my back pocket so over time the cards all end up slightly curved (Just like an iPhone :stuck_out_tongue: )

My osteo says he gets a lot of work from men keeping their wallet in their back pocket!

Bought a bellroy a while back… hands down best wallet i’ve ever bought. Bit pricey, but… it’s worth it.
