I use the Micro Belgravia wallet. https://www.kkmcdesign.com/products/micro-belgravia-midnight-black
I bought mine on eBay for around £45
You could use google pay if you have an android phone. Payments in shops etc from your monzo account can be made using your phone and all of your loyalty cards can also be saved to your phone via google pay too… Only snag is the contactless limit… So still need your card for larger purchases…
I’ve been told that if you use your card then you are subject to the contactless limit. However, if you use your phone (say Android Pay linked to Monzo) then there is no limit. I heard of someone buying a car with their phone. I’ve certainly spent over £30 on my phone.
You are indeed correct, you can make contactless payments of more than £30, using your phone
Only if the terminal supports it though.
One uses a Launer with RFID shielding although it looks a bit worn now.
Also looking at getting one of these!
I want the carbon one!
I’ve been using this when going less formal…
I really like it! I think they have a newer version out with a slightly different design, but I’m not sure if it’s any better
Ahh ok, can’t decide between the Card Sleeve or the Micro Sleeve.
How many cards can you fit in the outside pockets? Need to put my tile slim in there somewhere!
Well friend …how can I order for a monzo card now
You could always go for the ‘ultra thrifty’ option:

I originally had a nice metal card holder, but last year I lost it (along with my cards) and then I picked this up while I was in London to tide me over fully intending to buy another proper card holder… and few months on here I am still using this one!
Pros
- it’s free
- it ISN’T RFID blocking, which I prefer as it’s easier than getting the card out every time
- it’s hard wearing
- it does fit a fair few cards and cash, might stretch the plastic a bit if you go too mad though… but then just pick up another one!
Cons
- Makes you look like a tourist in London
- Makes you look like a grockle in Devon
- it’s got TFL advertising on it (still, not as bad as when they used to be sponsored by IKEA…)
Seriously? When I was still working in London I used to get a new one every 6 months, or so, because they fell apart…
If you’re not quite ready for a card sleeve yet, I would recommend Bellroy’s Note Sleeve. With everything in, it’s still as slim as my old wallet when it’s empty. Plus they look great!
Mine seems alright. Seeing as it’s free to replace it’s not too bad!
(I was kind of partly toungue in cheek but now I feel like I’m defending this as a truely viable option
)
After this convo I went and bought a SECRID miniwallet and I love it! Would highly recommend as others have. I bought mine from here:
Bumping this to see even people’s suggestions on slim wallets, as I’m in need of a replacement.
I’ll put in a second vote for this
I’ve been using the knock off from Amazon - way cheaper and very functional
