I noticed this, Iā€™m desperately hoping this is a sign we will see Apple Pay Cash in the U.K. soon, but Iā€™m not holding my breath lol.

I can go through all the steps to setup Apple Pay Cash but the address has to be USA, you need a social security number then you need to show picture ID.

Keeps saying will check on external databases etc.

Stopped after it got to picture ID as donā€™t have that.

Iā€™ve had the Apple pay cash card for a while. I think it appeared when I upgraded to an iOS developer beta, and itā€™s stayed ever since.

I have changed my Apple ID to the US in the past though, so that might have been a reason as well.

You can disable Apple Pay Cash in Settings -> Wallet and I believe it hides the button everywhere.

Personally I donā€™t see the point of it anyway; itā€™s honestly more trouble to have everyone you wish to pay set up yet another payment system when everyone already has a sort code & account number (and Monzo makes sending bank transfers super easy).
