I used an ATM in Bucks a few weeks ago and the location appeared as near Newcastle. I just assumed it was where the ATM company processed the transaction

More than likely the case from past experience

This was an independent company whose ATM was in a petrol station. I’ve only ever withdrawn cash a handful of times and when I’ve used a mainstream banks ATM it’s always had the location correct.
Yeha it was an independent atm outside Londis…it had link logo on it
