I was always chuffed that I got my salary via faster payments, now wishing they went back to BACs just to see this. Great to see “legacy” ways being given that Monzo Spruce up!
Every 25th
I normally get paid on the 27th of the month, but with that being a bank holiday this month, I get paid on the working day before the 27th being the 24th.
Don’t those sort of transactions get reversed anyway, aren’t the £1 ones just eBay testing your card?
It’s a bit odd kinda makes me want to see my whole payslip from inside the app though like some companies send receipt information in a card transaction it’d be nice for a BACS transaction to send all that info…not suggesting for a second Monzo need to sort that just my general brain spew
I get paid on the 27th of the month (working day before that when it falls on bank holiday or weekend)
Does it cover Direct Debits and cheques too? or just BACS payments like salary, tax credits etc
These show up the day before, and I do find that useful!
Good to know
I still have my main account with First Direct which has this Pending Transactions feature, so its good to see Monzo has it now if I switch in future |'m not losing it.
What time does it show up the day before you get paid
I’ve had a combination of 25th/last working day/26th
Will it always be the previous day it appears? With FD as an example Child Benefits that will be paid in on Monday will show as a pending transaction on Friday.
Would Monzos appear on Friday or Sunday?
Child benefit eg universal credit you mean yeha? I would be interested to know the answer as well
Yeah well anything really, Universal Credit, Tax credits, Child Benefit, Pension etc
I just get the four-weekly Child Benefits paid in, but assume other state benefits that are also paid in Monday would also appear Friday in FD.
I know for a fact that this week it will be Friday as Monday is bank holiday
I saw it around 0900 this morning - but not sure when it actually would have shown up from
If you tap on a previous payment it’ll tell you how it’s paid. BGC for tax credits, i’ll check child benefit when I get home
26th of each month. Weekend means it’s early.
I work for a small charity
We schedule payments through NatWest
Is this BACS?
If not
Cool - I can see my insurance money arriving tomorrow! Be nice if it updated the graph…
