What's the Last Bit of Tech You Bought?

Yeah I’ve had a Salter Bluetooth one for an age, it’s still going strong to be fair. Just wanted that upgrade to WiFi

It come out pretty well in the majority of Tech reviews and customer feedback does the Withings at least.

Plenty different features to keep me looking at stats forever.

Any recommendations for a sports or tracking watch?

And if you don’t have an iPhone, don’t bother with a smart watch.

I have a Garmin watch with music. Amazing sport watch, battery lasts ages and can sync Spotify playlists to the watch etc. Curve for Garmin pay as well can’t fault it

Should have mentioned, am on android, though as you say, maybe that is my answer

I’ve got the Fitbit Charge 4 and think it’s a very good device :+1: 7 day battery, GPS, O2 and temperature tracking, etc.
Does everything I need it to.

I have a Mi band. Mainly just bothered about step tracking but also useful for notifications, heart rate and sleep tracking.

Battery lasts a few weeks and for under £30 I think it’s great.

I just switched from a garmin vivoactive 3 to a Coros apex and I’m super impressed. Great value for the features it has, feels great, looks good and everything has been really accurate so far.

Battery life is phenomenal as well! Couldn’t get any more than 4 hours of gps tracking with my garmin. This one should go for 24 hours which will be useful on my longer training runs/hikes.

Coros pace 2 is a cheaper option if you don’t need barometer and navigation features.

An M.2 NVME SSD as my HDD was making a buzzing sound. Silence is good

iPhone 12 Pro Max. Had my XR for two years, so it was time for a change. I was worried it might be a bit too big, but I’m :heart:ing it.

First thoughts: the low light photo capability is :star_struck::open_mouth:

And I’ve just activated my first 5G :racing_car::bullettrain_front::running_man:‍♂ contract - I’m paying less per month than I was for my old 4G contract.

Four AirTags and an iPhone 12 Mini in purple for the husband.

I am holding out for the iPhone 13 for myself so he has a newer phone than me now and it’s upsetting

4 Airtags, and trying to ignore the stuff about the Apple Watch Explorer version due in September

Besides a tracker for my car I haven’t bought any tech in at least 6 months that I can remember

Pretty much sums up my pandemic.

So we used some Lockdown Savings to get a Roomba smart vacuum. And oh my god I wish I had gotten one sooner.

Every day at about 11 am he (Ziggy) comes round the flat and gives it a freshen up and clean. Honestly the flat has never looked so effortlessly clean.

As someone with Cats for house residents, it’s totally worth it.

I want one but my cat is scared of everything so it might not be a good idea

There’s one that mops the floor as well which would be handy

Yeah in the last week of having it out the cats are currently building up their confidence, and I’m anticipating a confrontation soon enough.

After seeing how well the hoover version hoovers, I’m sort of regretting not getting the mopping one.

It might just be a sign that a year + of COVID is getting to me, but honestly watching the little thing tootle around the flat cleaning things up and navigating its way through the gauntlet has been better entertainment than most of netflix…
