It would have been a game on my mum’s Amstrad CPC 6128 I think. Wizard’s liar is the one that looks familiar from my quick Google searches.

It’s F-Zero!

Toejam & Earl is a classic! I have this poster on one of my closets… I got it from crowdfunding the new sequel which is coming out soon!

The first game I ever played would be the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Mega Drive, as it came with the console. After that, Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker which was the next game I got and still one of my favourite games ever!

Ah, someone else in their forties

Gosh this brings back some memories. The first console game I really remember… Would be Ridge Racer…

Riiiiiiidge Raaaaaccceeeer. My brother and I got a Playstation for Christmas, in '95 or '96. This thread has just brought back memories of trying to find out all the cheats, (drive backwards! Pop in a CD and listen to your own music!).

Either something on the old BBC Micro at school…

Or Super Mario Brothers on the NES (Still have 2 of these… and they both work! )

I remember Dizzy being given away free with a Speccy magazine I used to read!! Loved it!
