What phone do you use?

Wonder if they will ‘reset’ the names to iPhone, iPhone+ and iPhone Pro (like they did with the iPads) :man_shrugging:t2:

I’m really not keen on that idea…

That will definitely be rather funny to watch people paying using Apple Pay by smiling at their phones

I will definitely be using my inner David Attenborough when I see Londoners being forced to smile at their phone to make a payment XD

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned it, but I am looking forward to seeing more phones from Nokia come out, been thinking about getting a Nokia 5 until I saw the 8 and the rumours about 9; decisions, decisions!

Pocket Casts just announced Sonos support a month ago: https://blog.shiftyjelly.com/2017/07/20/pocket-casts-sonos-support-beta/

Does the app work on the Vertu Constellation? I am thinking of getting a second hand phone

As long the Android on it is over 5.0 then it should be fine, didn’t Vertu go bust?

Thanks. I will check the version. It is a shame they went bust because they are great phones and you can get different ones to match your outfits or car.

Yeah I wanted the sapphire one for my blue car

I think when the iPhone 8 comes out we’re gonna have to buy this: https://twitter.com/darylginn/status/895705537504878592 :joy:

If they do I’m sticking to my iPhone 6s for sure :joy:

Google Pixel love the pure android experience. I normally upgrade every 6 months or so. Started last year with a Nexus 6p then got an S7 Edge, the finger print reader failed on that got it sorted then got rid. Got an iPhone 7, hated it bad experience ios needs a complete overhaul, dated and clunky although the app experience was mostly good. I lasted a month with that then got the Pixel on a black Friday deal and had it since. Might go for the Pixel XL 2 if it looks better than this years.

I have a Blackview. A nice cheap Chinese phone (Isn’t that where they are all made ?)
Nice 6" Screen, Thin metal body. Does everything an expensive one does.all for £67.

and probably sends everything you do back to servers in China!

And you think yours doesn’t then ?
90% of phones are made in the Far East and probably 99% of Batteries

I am using OnePlus 5 with 128gb Storage and 8gb memory. It can handle everything my last windows PC could and more.

My phone is made by a company that stands up to government monitoring and works to remove any security vulnerabilities.

Chinese companies have been know to actively add hardware back doors into the processor to bypass the linux kernel securities, modify the software to pass messages and data back to servers in mainland China and many are indirectly funded by the Chinese government such that they have no need to make profit. Can you guess why?

Most phones are manufactured in China and most telecom equipment to run our mobile services is also manufactured there. And our own government has infamous snoopers charter.

WOW. !!! One more Spy to join the rest who know everything we do
