What if the panel only toggled between fully down, or at mid point? (no fully open state)

Not a known issue. I’ll DM you for details.

2.57 :green_apple: im noticing @bruno that on my first load of the day my balance doesnt update until i switch tabs… the pending transactions in the feed update to complete but balance doesnt.

This a known issue?

Maybe if it snapped to here when it was at its open state, then you’d still be able to see your account balance / left for x days amount.

I thought it should do something similar… rather than cover up the balance upon first opening.

I’m not sure I fully understand your question, but the “left to spend” amount (£13.19) is money that you have as discretionary spend after the £11.99 has been taken from your current balance (possibly around £25?). I’m assuming your £11.99 payment is marked as a recurring item, so it’s classed as committed spend.

I may be wrong and telling you something you already know, but couldn’t quite work out what you were asking.

Updated my original post with screenshot.

It all depends on how much you’ve spend each day as an average (non committed). It uses that to work out how much it think you’ll have left at the end of the month. So because there’s 3 days left it does the maths (you must spend very little per day!) and think you’ll spend 2 quid in the last 2 days.

I’d like the :bell: notification icon back with the notifications in there with the ability to mark as read. On top of the feed feels cluttered.

As @Daesimpso said - what is your total balance shown for that account on the home feed - is it about £25?

Thanks @joedmitchell.

Just transferred some subscriptions over to Monzo from my other bank account for now. Thanks for letting me know how that functionality is designed to work

Actually, based on the updated screenshot I guess the balance of the account is around £95. Alternatively it’s too hot and my maths is off!

No my balance is £13.19.

@joedmitchell answered your question here.

What he said is correct :+1:

@bruno Any thoughts on the above please? Would be much appreciated :grinning:.

@bruno - just got the new UI via the labs yesterday. Really like all the updates and feels like a big step in the right direction. The one change for me would be to make it easier to get between Sole and Joint account on the home screen if you have lots of pots. I’d personally have the joint account directly on the left of the sole account. Then you can get into the sole pots by swiping left / into joint account and pots by swiping right. Would make it really easy to swap between sole and joint.

Agree with this @bruno. Don’t know what the value is in the mid-point being open so much?

Why lose more real estate for transactions on what is primarily the transaction view, just to see half a card etc., especially now the name of the account is at the top, so you don’t need two visual indicators.

But def think @Haminski is right that seeing the balance and left to spend still would be great.

The ability to reorder Parent accounts, Pots and Connected Credit Cards to your personal preference would be the best implementation & fix this for you. It has been mentioned by Bruno somewhere in this thread.

EDIT: Found it - back at post #2105; We're working on a new look for the Monzo app

Really miss the summary, and I can’t seem to find things like a record of my recommendations etc!

Mid point drawer is great to know what card you’re looking at, and being able to swipe them through. If the drawer is fully up you can only browse that feed.

There’s another reason for keeping the mid point as the maximum drawer heigh, which is tied with some ideas for “insights mode” in some of our budgeting designs. But those are just explorations.

I just wanted to get a feel from your folks on whether or not you find the fully expanded drawer useful or not.
