The golden ticket idea is great. After posting my ticket on Facebook, I have had an overwhelming response from friends and have a backlog of them asking for a ticket, fielding their questions and directing them to relevant information. It’s got the point where some are actually asking if I work for Monzo! The winning combination of personal recommendation and perceived scarcity is great for those who are signing up, but it seems the inviter (if inviting many) is getting the short end of the stick. I don’t want to suggest anything, but I think it would be reasonable to reward people who sign up a large number of friends and family for their time and effort.
