View salary sorter - current selection

Oh I understand now, thanks for taking the time to clarify this. So the sort settings are saved, but the sort is not done automatically. That’s why someone said above that its a ‘manual’ tool. It’s just a quicker way to move money into a bunch of different pots than using Add to pot or Move money.

Partly I was confused because of what I read on this Monzo USA Forum thread - now either that is poorly worded, or Monzo USA actually DOES automatically do it for you. I see you’ve posted on there @Revels so I’m hoping you know the answer to this?

Assuming there is different functionality between USA and UK Monzo apps, it would save us all some time, confusion and possibly get rid of some of these requests here if the description on the “Understanding Salary Sorter” help page were a bit clearer about how it works. Specifically in the last line:
“You’ll see an option to remember these preferences when you’re paid from the same sender again. Just check the details are right, or edit the amounts if you want to, and we’ll sort out your money for you”
I assumed the “just check they’re right” instruction was for you to do when you saved the preferences, and that the “we’ll sort it for you” would happen “when you’re paid from the same sender again”.
