Any ideas if Mondo have plans to allow you to use the card at pay at pump petrol stations? Tried the other day but got a message saying card not supported, presuming as its a top up style card they can’t pre authorise payments?

Yes, this is a known issue with the prepaid card. They like to be able to know that they can chase you up if you don’t have enough money.

Card usage
Topping up with a credit card is NOT supported. It has to be a debit card.
Because it is a prepaid card, ATMs will say that you might be charged for cash withdrawals but don’t worry, you are NOT!
Mag stripe ATMs will not work with our card (particularly annoying in America)

It can also be a problem if you don’t have the ‘maximum’ amount you can dispense on your card. This is normally around £110.
