That’s shocking
I don’t want a Revolut account, Yeah I understand now shipping to Airbnb was a bad idea, what can be done to fix it. Surely there’s something that they can do. I don’t think they would even delete the account. It’s stuck in a limbo forever I guess.
You shouldn’t have to pay to get better support from a banking/financial institution which holds your funds… I’m shocked that you consider this normal.
Revolut support free is equivalent, maybe better than Monzo, but they throw in priority if I pay them for a plan, unlike Monzo
As a Monzo customer since 2018 I’m reasonably happy with the level of customer support I’ve had but then to be fair I’ve not needed to contact them very often;perhaps I’ve been lucky,I don’t know. What I do read about Revolut is poor customer service combined with a high level of customer’s experiencing fraud (no proof the bank is at fault so it’s anecdotal on my part) and so many mentions on Watchdog et al. I’m just making the point that yes Monzo isn’t perfect and it’s not for everyone but it’s a good fit for me and I’ve no complaints.
Yes but this shouldn’t be the case, as there is a ‘priority support’ plan, the company will value you less if you do not pay than individuals who do pay. There should not be this sort of disparity when it comes to assistance within the financial sector. I’m hoping you understand that this is not normal and should not be the case. I’d understand if it were to be included in a ‘premiere banking’ account where you have a personal concierge but Revolut is a bank for ‘normal’ people.
Premier banking = you have money you get quicker service.
Revolut = you have money you get quicker service.
Don’t try blind yourself here, both have financial requirements to receive better service, revolut are opening it to everyone, whereby premier banking expect everyone to have it.
This is absolutely normal, from Barclays to HSBC to Amex, normal support is pretty good but they all have premium options that allow you to get better support
Revolut free support is good enough, ultra is better - and yeah, they should value the customer paying them £55 a month more than the free user
My bad - I didn’t read up on it prior to commenting, thought it’s a specific add on rather than that it comes with their Ultra plan.
