Someone has opened a monzo account in my name

Someone according to clearscore has opened a Monzo account in my name but the last 4 card digits do not match my account. Its impossible to speak to Monzo and they give a message to live chat in the app but it just gives selections to click on and nothing to do with what I am trying to question? This is so frustrating and a bit worrying. Can anyone suggest what I should do?

Do you already have a Monzo account? If so I don’t think it’s possible for someone else to also open one.

Are you looking at the card number and not the account number?


The last 4 digits on your report are your account number not your debit card number, I just checked mine and they match.

Your account number isn’t visible on your debit card.
