Show off your smartwatch!

Series 0 or 1 I can’t remember - can’t update the iOS now it’s that old though so making me want to get the 4 soon

Also ignore my pale Scottish arms!

That’ll be a series 0 then. Every other series can get watchOS 5.

I feel I need to get something better than my cheapo Xiaomi watch.

The Orange Hermes exclusive sport band arrived today - Absolutey love the colour.

Picking up the series 4 on Monday - Will be sad to see the Space Black series 0 go - I didn’t plump the extra £400 to get the Space Black this time.

Apple Watch Series 4. Compared to my last Apple Watch (the original model), it is screamingly fast. The increased screen size is noticeable too. I’m glad they kept the rectangular shape (with curved corners), as it makes for more useable apps than a round face.

The new richer complications are very nice (min/max temp shown along with current, heart rate range graphs, visual timer countdown ring etc). Raise to speak works well.

Having had a square/rectangular smartwatch and then moved to a circular one, I wouldn’t move back.

Every watchface looks better on a circular smartwartch. I think Apple massively got this wrong.

I want one though. I’m waiting to see what comes up next week from Google… I’m ready for a smartwatch, but don’t want to get an Apple Watch if I end up moving away from iPhone.

I certainly think circular watches look a little nicer and more versatile.

I haven’t really used any circular watches (on the basis of only using an Apple watch) - Although I am looking forward to using the new watch face on the series 4 (the one with lots of complications).

The circular watch faces always look a bit cramped when there is a lot of info (more so than square), but for simple faces they do look good.

Suunto have some of the nicest looking smart watches IMO - But the UI is a little clunky (and they aren’t cheap!)

I’ve got my running strap on at the moment because I managed to break the smart strap taking it off the other day.

These are my broken Apple Watch Series 0 and new Series 4. Not shown are my Fullmosa space grey leather straps with gunmetal buckles.

I generally prefer a cleaner watchface, but I wouldn’t agree about ones with a lot of information seeming cramped. This is one I use sometimes with 6 customisable spaces for complications and I don’t find it to be cramped.

I think it comes down to the design of the watchface more than anything.

Can you get custom watch faces on WearOS (is there an “app store” for them?)

You can bet that Apple will open a watch face store in the near future - Seems crazy they haven’t already.

For sports activities - I still prefer the square form factor.

But a round face would fit in more I reckon.

Yes, there’s literally tens of thousands of custom watch faces. Name any popular thing and there’ll be a face for it.

Just searched for a Zelda watchface on a whim and found this awesome one… It’s animated with Link throwing a boomerang.

Last year when I was VIP at the opening of the Prince exhibition in London I wore this one… The little plectrum around the edge is the second hand :purple_heart:

How are you still coping with that view?! I moved to the list view as soon as it was available. So much easier to work with.

Below is my current watch face. I like the wunderground complication but they have not released it for the new rich complications yet.

But then how will they differentiate the Nike version :joy:

Joking aside I don’t know why they have not already done this. :man_shrugging:t2:

It’s got to be to add a little more exclusivity to the Hermes version (and Nike).

Otherwise… there really isn’t a lot going for the Hermes versions (certainly not at the prices they are).
