Fellow smartwatch owners… Let’s see what you’re currently rocking on your wrist!
Here’s my LG Watch Style. The cool thing about this particular watchface is that the colour changes every hour.

I’m currently rocking nothing, still waiting on the Pixel watch (or any other new decent watch with no gimmicks)
Standard apple watch here
What colour is it now?
Orange!
The new Galaxy Watch!
and of course…
My first (and still IMHO the best, bar battery drop-off) was the 1st gen Moto 360;
I’m now with a Ticwatch E which is incredible considering the price - I was an early kickstarter for this one;
The Huawei Watch! The screen looks really clear in real life. I can’t get a decent picture of it
The left complication is my phone battery. I use a third party complication for that!
I really wanted the Moto 360, but I was impatient and bought the first Android watch - the LG G Watch.
The 360 was announced at the same time IIRC but there was a delay of a few months. I was blown away by the 360 a few months later when I saw it in real life. The G Watch lasted me 2 years or so though, and I still managed to get about a third of what I paid for it by the time I sold it.
I almost went for the G watch, but waited for the Moto 360. Looking back I’m glad I did, it gave a good few years of watchface tinkering. I still have it (it’s on its 3rd battery!) but the original leather strap is now shot and no more OS upgrades, so likely headed for the bin soon. Next one after the Ticwatch E? - tempted for the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 - a beast!
Asking the important questions
Got it back when it was Withings but there was a sealing problem on the case so it misted. Nokia bought Withings and took it off the market while they fixed it. Replaced mine for free.
Now Withings have bought themselves back so Nokia might be a rare version aha.
They updated the software recently. I got it for swimming primarily, so wasn’t bothered about smart features. Could get calls and messages. Now I can get loads of things.
Stupidly excited when I got my Monzo transaction on it and even my sister admitted it was pretty neat lol
I had a Moto 360 for about a week back in 2016 or so, but I had to return it
I’d bought it out of money I’d received from add-on sales. Unfortunately, it was a fraudulent purchase and the transaction was reversed by PayPal. I had to return the watch for the refund to pay off my negative PayPal balance.
I was really upset, I’d really liked it and enjoyed using it.
I probably wouldn’t buy anything at this point until new watches with the Snapdragon 3100 chip come out. The Diesel looks great though!
Does a bPay Band count?
Not much compared the others, it was cheap and it’s doing the job but am on the look out for something better. Tells the time plus counts steps, heart rate, distance walked and calories burnt/used.
£339 though, it’s steep, looks ace though.
Apple Watch Series 3. Had a Series 0 till this one came out. My partner has the Series 4 now and it is nice. Not sure I can justify the upgrade just yet.
I’ve recently got a fossil q explorer (4th generation) with Google’s wear os (just got the latest update! I really love it, especially Google pay and paying for everything with my monzo account using my watch!
Yea I saw the same reviews. I’ve had it on this morning since 7am and as u can see on the picture I’m still on 64% It usually switches to power saver at about 9pm which for me is fine as I’m currently charging it every night when I go to bed so for me works quite well. Battery life has improved since the new wear Os firmware installed. I’ve used it for 2 Google pay transactions today and had a fair few notifications come through so I’m pretty happy with it. I think the upcoming models will much improve further though with the newer chips
