Server problem won't let me open a joint account

My partner and I are trying to open a joint Monzo account - she is to do it but I haven’t received any notification inviting me to set up the joint account and when I try to set it up myself, I get told that Monzo is having server problems.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I would expect you to get an error if you try and set it up yourself because the two applications will conflict, but you should get an invitation if your partner has applied.

Perhaps there was a slight delay with sending you the notification and then when you’ve tried to apply you’ve got the system all in a muddle? :man_shrugging:

Either way, it sounds like it’s one for Monzo support to take a look at. Message them in app and I’m sure they’ll get you back on track :slight_smile:
