I’m not sure if this is just a problem with my set up, but I’ve never been able to use the salary sorter, mostly because I live in my overdraft.
Should the salary sort still be able to accommodate that? I cannot be only person with this issue lol
You can’t automatically sort money if you’re in your overdraft, but you can do it manually.
It’s a sensible design to stop people remaining in fees.
You’re free to put yourself in debt, but monzo isn’t going to do that if they can avoid it.
As Carlo said, this is by design to help keep people out of their overdrafts.
I was £50 into my overdraft last time I got paid, I was still able to use the salary sorter, but I could only sort my income minus the £50. (Example: £1500 income, only able to sort £1450 - Not real figures used).
