Returned double transfer

I got a message that some money was returned from a “double” transfer which I never noticed so of course am thankful for - but I’m confused what actually happened here

Did the person receive two transfers, did one go into the void, did Monzo receive the “double” back from the persons bank or did they pay themselves?

It may be related to the outage of the faster payments system a short while ago where you may have tried a transaction, and the app didn’t error out & maybe you hit send twice or something.

Either way, it’s good to see Monzo having this functionality!
