Hi, if you copy and paste a reference when making a bank transfer then the reference gets ignored and replaced with the account name.
I have just tested this a couple of times. If I copy and paste and then manually delete and retype the last character then it works as expected.
Please fix this ASAP as it has potential to cause a lot of problems with recipients not being able to match payments due to the wrong reference being used.
I have had the same thing , I copied and pasted my Monzo details as usually from my Monzo App , as I was selling my house , I then sent the copied and pasted details to the buyer and was waiting for the money to arrive as it took a few hours for it to not arrive , I realised that the copy and paste was wrong with my account number and it took 2 days for the money to come back , I’m glad I am not the only person AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!
