Hi, there is a recurrent payment being debited from my account, which I have no recollection of setting up. The payee is based in the USA and I’m in the UK. How do I cancel it?
You should be able to contact Monzo and they can help you with cancelling the direct debit.
You can go to the Help section in the app, search ‘Contact’ and there’s a link to chat.
We’re just customers so we can’t do much to help on here I’m afraid.
Is it a Direct Debit (if so it will be in Scheduled Payments and you can cancel it yourself), or are the transactions on your card (in which case it’s a Continuous Payment Authority which is more problematic). If the latter, I suggest contacting Monzo using in-app chat for help.
