Payroll has asked for my roll number

Hi,
Recently went #fullmonzo and have instructed payroll to pay my wages into my Monzo account. I’ve provided them with the details and they have come back asking for a roll number.
I’ve informed them that roll numbers tend to be used by building societies, but they’ve said that some banks use them.

So… Does Monzo use roll numbers? And if so, where do I find mine?

Nope, Monzo doesn’t use them.

As far as I understand it, no bank has a roll number; these are only used by Building Societies.

they are asking for your payroll number, its your employee ID so they know whos info they are changing :slight_smile:
