Pay monzo premium fee out of a pot

I have setup a Bills pot and now have all my bills such as direct debits and subscriptions coming out of this pot. The only bill I cannot move is the Monzo premium fee. Has any one found a way to do this?

Hi! One of the biggest things I love about Monzo is being able to assign scheduled payments to specific pots, or assigning virtual cards to specific pots, as I use this to manage my bills and such. This means i usually never have any money in the “main” account as i move it into a pot that has nothing assigned to it. Hello, Spoken to Monzo Twitter, and they’ve said the charge for Monzo Plus comes out of the main account. Monzo: Is there any plans to allow account charges to come out a specific pot, similar to how standing orders and direct debits can be paid?

Monzo Plus - Pay monthly subscription from Pot

In the expectation that virtual cards will in the future be able to be tied to a pot. It would be good if my subscription to Monzo Plus could be paid from a pot, so that all sich things can be kept organised to one pot.

That’s very strange, im surprised Monzo don’t allow this.

I really want the money left in my account to be money left over and not have further bills taken out of it. I guess I will have to use a different account then.

You can set a £15 withdrawal from a pot on the day of your subscription to cover it.

The above is what I do since the fee is taken on the same date every month.

Scheduled deposit into a pot on payday → Scheduled withdrawal on the date payment is due
