Paid early issue

I’ve just been notified I can be paid early so I did the usual thing, dragged the money on the picture to the wallet (and thought I completed it!) but then I got a notification and distracted and went back to it. A couple of seconds later. It mustn’t have completed properly as the money didn’t hit my account which is fine but I’m more worried that I can no longer see the pending payment and the option has disappeared from my feed.

Has anyone had this before?

After dragging you sometimes have to wait for Monzo to process it (and wait for a second notification) but I have had something similar happen, try force-quitting the app and see if that helps.

If loads are being paid the same time it can take a while to process.

Thank you. It’s been around 3 hours now, was it this long to process for you previously?

It shouldn’t be this long, the only reason this could be possible is if your employer cancelled the BACs payment last minute.

No. In my case I did the drag to wallet and then after that nothing was showing in the app for the payment at all (much like you described). However a force quit of the app then seemed to sort it out and the payment showed up again. Hopefully as it’s now the next day this has resolved itself for you though…

Curious about what actually happened here.

Did you contact support? What did they say? Or did the money just turn up as scheduled the next day?
